F.A.Q.

Do I get to take my project home that day?

Resin takes at least 72 hours to fully cure and, depending on the project, may need to have additional clear layers added.  I will try and get everything finished in a week.  Once it is completed, I will contact you and you can pick it up at your earliest convenience or you can pay to have it shipped/delivered.

Can I bring something sentimental to put in my resin project?

YES! In order for it to set in resin correctly it needs to be either sealed, laminated or dried.  If you have any questions on specific things - please send me a message.

What if I don't like how my project turned out?

Resin has an amazing way of turning out better than what you expect but if you are still not happy with your creation then you have a few options.  I can give you another try if there is another mould available or you can choose from a project already made to take home.

What do I need to wear the day of the workshop?

Working with resin is a little messy.  I will give you a plastic apron to protect your clothes but drips still happen. Wear clothes and shoes that you are okay getting stained.

Can I bring someone with me?

YES! If there is someone coming to observe with you then it is free of charge.
For those creating a couples board or shared project, a guest ticket is needed for those who are participating but not bringing home a separate project of their own.

What is epoxy resin?

Epoxy resin is a two part adhesive that, when mixed together, causes a slow exothermic reaction.  As the resin gets hotter it will harden.  The type of resin we will use is Super Clear Table Top epoxy resin and it takes 30 minutes to an hour for it to start to harden.
